Lattitude Solutions, LLC Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary
Self-Funded and Woman-Owned Digital Media and Branding Company Reaches New Milestone
Pearland, Texas: Lattitude Solutions, LLC announces its latest achievement: celebrating 10 years in business — another major milestone for the small startup business. In 2009 Lattitude Solutions CEO, Ms. TeeDee Davis got her start in the tech world as an internet marketing consultant working for a small startup tech company in North Texas. Her strong corporate sales background eventually propelled her to the title of Vice President as she began traveling around the country training and hosting internet marketing conferences for small business owners as well as brick and mortar retail store owners, looking to hybrid into an eCommerce platform. The impetus to start her own company came from the confidence she gained while on the road internet coaching. “As I became more ‘tech-knowledged’, I was able to inject my corporate sales training into my webinars and presentations, effortlessly.” TeeDee continues, “I began to notice how attentive the attendees were. I was flattered! It was just the confidence that I needed to consider delving into starting my own tech brand.” In 2011, TeeDee made the decision to launch Lattitude Solutions.
Recognizing that she had an eye for cutting-edge visual technology, TeeDee attended an online coding school for advanced digital media development and internet technology. Already a self-taught graphic designer, TeeDee used the last of her “coins” to purchase the Adobe Creative Suite software package that featured Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Dreamweaver. Laughing, TeeDee says, “I was down to my last, but I knew I had to make the sacrifice so I can appreciate the success.” She continues, “I broke my lease, sold everything in my apartment and flipped what little I made on some cheap office furniture and moved into my first office in the Dallas area. I just lived in my tiny little office until I could afford to lease another apartment.” She attributes this small sacrifice to her motivation for success. “I was determined to get up off of that blow-up mattress in my office.”
10 years later, the young, daring-do woman who started with meager means, sleeping on her office floor in Dallas, still owns Lattitude Solutions and sister company, Pearland Web Design, the #1 ranked and most successful digital media, marketing & branding company in Brazoria County, since 2014. Lattitude Solutions has built an excellent reputation in Pearland including a long-standing, A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau.
“90% of our clients pay the invoice without us physically meeting them and although I’m extremely grateful that our clients trust the name value, I have to admit, I kinda miss the old days of coffee sipping, laughing, and handshaking in the Pearland office with my clients.” Projecting yet another hint of her successful sales background, TeeDee chimes in with a big smile, “We LOVE our clients!” Over the past decade, Lattitude Solutions has partnered with nationally recognized Fortune 500 companies as well as forward-thinking, ‘Mom and Pop’ shops to elevate their customer focus and enhance their online business reputations. In fact, since the company’s commencement, numerous Lattitude Solutions’ clients have increased business revenue, added new locations, and expanded into other business ventures. When asked what’s her secret to running a successful startup when only about 30% (less than ⅓) of all small businesses make it to the 10-year mark, with an even lower and more daunting percentage when factoring in the fact that she is a Black woman, TeeDee states emphatically, “Just do good work; they will respect the work. You need a healthy work ethic and thick skin. Always remember that ‘N.O.,’ doesn’t shut the door on your success, it should mean, ‘next option!’”
As part of the 10 Year Anniversary celebration, Lattitude Solutions will provide charitable contributions to several different women organizations and companies throughout 2021.
